Oct 17, 2014 · It appears my kernel panic upon boot was because of my pc Nvidia GTX650 Video Card (never had this problem in prior versions of OS X with this card). I replaced the card with the old, original ATI card and it seems to be running normally now on startup, restart and sleep.
